President Obama promised to fundamentally change America. President Trump put the  world wide socialist movement in such a panic that they have shown their true colors by succumbing to anti-Trump mania and becoming a hate-filed mob. Promoters of rioting and looting are pretending to know that President Trump’s trips to visit damaged areas are being done to stir up more rioting. Those who thus foment unrest should be recognized as terrorists. The same goes for black leaders who advise blacks to resist arrest and run from the police.

Church attendance had been losing ground while biblical morals and family values were also diminishing. Left wingers and fascists (globalists) saw in covid19 an opportunity to pile on to the influences changing our culture. They forced the issue by shutting down social gatherings, businesses, churches, and schools on a nearly world-wide basis.. Many are wondering if the shutdown Is causing more suffering and death than the pandemic. Covid19 is not the only pandemic in recent history nor is it the worst.

SEEKING GLORY

February 11th, 2020

The purpose of the Savior’s atonement is to bring us forgiveness of sins and place us out of the reach of our past sinful natures. The transformation from sinner to sanctified individual must be proceeded by sorrow for sin, confession of sins, and righting the wrongs we did. The confession must include confession to God and anyone affected by our sin. We don’t believe in “once saved always saved”. If our sin was committed openly then our confessing must be done openly. I have had trouble with a respected member of my ward openly attacking my reputation in front of the High Priest group.

BELIEVE IN THE BOOK OF MORMON?

DO WE BELIEVE IN THE BOOK OF MORMON?
BECAUSE IF WE DON’T WE ARE
WALKING IN DARKNESS AT NOON-DAY

D&C 95:5-6, “ 5) But behold, verily I say unto you, that there are many who have been ordained among you, whom I have called but few of them are chosen. 6) They who are not chosen have sinned a very grievous sin, in that they are walking in darkness at noon-day.” In 1830 those plates which Joseph Smith was allowed to translate were published. In 3Nephi  26:9-11 we are told that the greater things contained in the plates were to be withheld until we show the Lord that we believe the things found in that portion of the plates which were to be first translated. In those days of slavery and racism the members were quick to show that they did not believe the Book of Mormon teaching that in God’s sight “one being is as precious in his sight as the other”, Jacob 2:21.  D&C 38:26 also makes it clear that every member should be equal to the others. Because of their racist attitudes they refused to allow blacks of African descent to obtain the priesthood even though Joseph Smith ordained at least one black man.

MY TESTIMONY IS NOT THREATENED

March 27th, 2019

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints claims to be the church Jesus organized and by Jesus restored to the earth in 1830 through our prophet Joseph Smith. My testimony of that restoration is not threatened by the mistakes, heresy, and misdeeds of some of the leaders of the church. These things do not threaten my testimony because I still have confidence in D&C 112:12&13. “And pray for thy brethren of the Twelve. Admonish them sharply for my names sake, and let them be admonished for all their sins, and be ye faithful before me unto my name. And after their temptations, and much tribulations, behold, I, the Lord, will feel after them, and if they harden not their hearts, and stiffen not their necks against me, they shall be converted, and I will heal them.”

DIMINISHED EXPECTATIONS

October 16th, 2018

The Children if Israel disappointed the Lord many times in many ways. Ezekiel spoke of their failures in chapter 20 then in verse 25 he said, because of their failures, “Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live.” Ezekiel was referring to the fact that the Lord made allowances for their behavior because of His diminished expectations for them.
