THE SANCTIONS AGAINST IRAN DID NOT PREVENT THEM FROM FUNDING TERRORISTS OR SUPPLYING THEM WITH WAR MATERIALS TO USE AGAINST OUR MILITARY AND OUR ALLIES. THE REPARATIONS OBAMA ARRANGED FOR US TO GIVE IRAN CAN ONLY BE SEEN AS TRIBUTE; TRIBUTE TO AN ISLAMIST TERRORIST STATE.

Because I have studied the Koran and feel embarrassed by some of the nonsensical talk I hear about it I feel the need to pass on to my friends some of the good news and some of the bad news on that subject. While it is true that the Koran tells Moslems who are at war to kill their enemies where ever they find them, the Koran gives wonderful support to moderate Islam.

The results of my study of the Koran:

To the Moslem who feels he is being oppressed it says, “Was not Allah’s earth spacious that ye could have migrated therein?” Surah IV verse 97.  

To the Moslem who might be tempted by the promise of many virgins the Koran says with regard to wedded bliss, “The provision of thy Lord is better and more lasting”.  Surah XX verse 131.  

While the Koran only requires a flogging for adultery, Sharia law allows Moslems to kill family members who dishonor the family. Surah XXIV verse 2. Sharia Law considers being raped a dishonor to the family because women are considered a threat to man’s chastity and are not allowed to be in the presence of males who are not part of the strict Moslem family. Therefore, rape is the woman’s fault.

To the promoter of radical jihad who insists that he no longer needs to believe parts of the Koran it says, referring to Allah, “He it is Who hath revealed unto thee (Muhammad) the Scripture wherein are clear revelations-They are the substance of the book-and others (which are) allegorical.  But those in whose hearts is doubt pursue, forsooth, that which is allegorical seeking (to cause) dissension by seeking to explain it. None knoweth its explanation save Allah.  And those who are of sound instruction say: We believe therein; the whole is from our Lord; but only men of understanding really heed.” Surah III verse 7.

To the promoter of jihad who hates Jews and Christians the Koran says, “...For each we have appointed a divine and traced out way, had Allah willed He could have made you one community, but that He might try you by that which He hath given you (He hath made you as ye are).  So vie one with another in good works, unto Allah ye will all return ... .” Surah V verse 48.

In later Surah negative things are said about the fate of Jews and Christians in the afterlife, but even there believers are instructed to “forgive those who hope not for the days of Allah”. Surah XLV verse 14.

Things I learned about Islam in a California Social Studies book for seventh graders.

The book is titled Holt   California Social Studies   World History   Medieval to Early Modern Times By Burstein and Shek

On page 67 the text book gives a very sketchy description of the Qur’an. “The Qur’an describes rights of women, including rights to own property, earn money, and get an education. However, most women have fewer rights than men.” On page 69 the text book states that “Sharia sets rewards for good behavior and punishments for crimes. ... It was the basis for law in Muslim countries until modern times. Most Muslim countries blend Islamic law with western legal systems like we have in the United States.” This is quite misleading.

Sharia law comes from oral traditions eventually put down in writing. These traditions are found in biographies of Muhammad and other writings. Individually the traditions are called sunna. The Hadith is a major collection of sunna. They are things Muhammad is supposed to have said, approved of, or examples of his behavior.

Things you will not learn about Islam in Caifornia’s public school textbook for seventh graders:

Though the textbook claims that the Qur’an upholds the rights of women to get an education, it must be a very obscure passage for I failed to find it after hours of searching because the index doesn’t list it. With the index for a guide, I searched every Surah which might contain reference to women’s education with no success and I spent hours searching. In the Qur’an and in Iran a woman receiving an inheritance will get only half of what a man gets. By using search engines you can learn that there are about nine Islamic sects, each having two to six or more sub groups. The bad news about most Islamic sects is their belief in Sharia Law.

What you may not see taught in public schools is the fact that most of these sects view the other Islamic sects as heretics. Few sects don’t promote Sharia Law. Sharia is not compatible with our system of justice. It contains aspects of vigilante justice and is looked upon as a culture of death by those most familiar with it. Sharia law promotes honor killings. A woman who is raped has dishonored her family and must die. Anyone who abandons his Islamic faith must die. The nonbeliever must convert or die once a holy war is declared. Sometimes they will settle for taxing nonbelievers and giving them second class citizenship. Many thousands of moderate Moslems have come here to escape the culture of death in their homelands. Most of them fear speaking out against Moslems who believe in Sharia. For the sake of moderates we should go to great lengths to avoid bringing in more of those who believe in Sharia and radical jihad. A moderate Moslem is a Moslem who does not believe in Sharia and is in danger of being designated a heretic by those who do believe in Sharia.

Under cover of political correctness the Islamic faith is sometimes being pushed with a greater positive bias than would be allowed for Christianity. California seventh graders are given misleading information about Islam in order to paint a rosier picture of that religion than the truth would. President Obama recently stated that Islam means peace as does shalom. Even the California textbook for seventh graders acknowledges that Islam means “submit”. Although I consider the text book misleading, it does avoid telling the outright lies told by some of our politicians.

Under pressure from Moslems some schools in the U.S.A. have pulled pork out of their cafeterias. This symbolizes subservience to Islam. Islam has a higher status in our public schools and by the American main stream news media than does Christianity.

There have been honor killings performed by Moslems in this country and efforts to supplant our system of justice with Sharia Law. Bringing Moslems into this country who believe in Sharia Law is very dangerous. They are enemies of our culture and have no respect for women’s rights and that includes their own women’s civil rights. Non Moslem women are looked upon as whores by those who believe in Sharia Law.

Islamic Imams presides over the religious instruction and worship at Mosques. Some Moslems look forward to an Imam who will cause the enemies of Islam to bow and surrender. He is to be a divine descendant of Muhammad. Some Imams teach their followers that Jews are descended from monkeys.

A Caliph is a successor to Muhammad and rules over the Islamic people and their territory. The Caliphate is his empire. When you hear a Moslem talking about a Caliphate he is talking about building an empire. Isis is building a Caliphate.
